Portraying a sharp and far-sighted law firm
The perfectly vertical drone view is fascinating. It embodies the analytical clarity, the entrepreneurial vision and the local roots of the Zurich-based law firm Thouvenin Rechtsanwälte.
Concept «Zurich Birdview»
We started developing this concept scanning an area of some 90 square kilometres. After several days of “composition scouting“ on google maps our designers identified a number of ideal locations and views. We then conducted drone shootings with photographer Daniel Hager at specific times of day when the natural light brought out the character of the composition best, mostly in the morning hours. This imagery is at the core of the new and strongly differentiating visual identity of Thouvenin.
The new website uses mostly existing content and was redesigned with great care and a certain restraint. We call it asymmetric redesign: On the one hand we continued established CD components such as colour tiles, applying them in a slightly more contemporary fashion. On the other hand we added the spectacular “Zurich Birdview” imagery as the predominant design element. It turns the otherwise very simple and clear website into a characteristic brand expression.
