Digital Day 2019
A day to experience digital together
Digital Day aims to make the people of Switzerland aware of the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation. “Let’s experience digital together!” is the motto and more than 80 Swiss companies, initiatives and public organisations join in to make it happen. The event takes place in 12 cities simultaneously.
Digital Day is realized in close cooperation with Aroma Productions who are responsible for the main event at Zurich central station as well as with Update who are responsible for the website.
To increase visual impact, we refreshed and simplified the existing Matterhorn key visual. We reduced the existing rainbow background to a powerful pink gradient that subtly blends with violet or orange at the edges. The resulting “Digital Pink” creates a bold and vibrant impression and boosts the long range effect.
As main partner, Google provides a suitable free font: The Roboto font family guarantess a suitable and universally applicable typography and at the same time a trouble-free implementation through more than 80 partners at 12 locations across the country.
A stage for government, academia and business
Federal Councillors Ueli Maurer and Guy Parmelin take on the patronage of Digital Day. It is organized by digitalswitzerland, the well-known national initiative that is highly successful in bringing relevant agents from government, academia and business together. Noted universities, systemically important companies, cantons and cities are found among its members as well as innovative SMEs, start-ups or NGOs.
